Description
Many of my patients are individuals struggling with some form of undesirable symptoms related to their mental health and come to see me to explore whether medication might help. Taking this step can feel vulnerable and intimidating. The work I do stems from an innate passion to empower individuals to take control of their quality of life by giving attention to their mental health. I partner with my patients to discover and create a mental health plan that feels comfortable, doable, and sustainable. I specialize in forming relationships with individuals who are: 1) already taking medication for a current mental health diagnosis; 2) experiencing mental health symptoms and would like to see if medication may be beneficial; and 3) already taking medication but find their treatment is not working as they would like. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Ohio University, and I earned my Bachelor’s degrees from Cleveland State University and the University of Florida.
