. Dr. Khan specializes in adult diseases and their prevention. She is a member of the American College & Physicians and, American Medical Association. Dr. Khan received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Benedictine University. She ranked top in her medical school at Ross University, with honours in all of her clinical rotations. Dr. Khan completed her internship and residency programs in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital, affiliated with the Northwestern School of Medicine. Dr. Khan is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and was re-certified in 2015

In 2002, Dr. was awarded the prestigious F.A.C.P. designation from the American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She is on staff at Swedish Medical Center and Sky Ridge Medical Center in Colorado. Dr. Khan is involved in the teaching of medical students and residents. She is an Assistant Professor in the department of medicine at Rush Medical College, where she is involved in the teaching of first and second-year students.
