Dr. LuAnne Codella is a thorough, attentive physician who takes a FUNCTIONAL and HOLISTIC approach to evaluation and treatment-treating patients in Manhattan and surrounding areas. She is dedicated to the providing the highest quality of medical care and sees patients from 16 years of age onward. She also holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.

In order to pursue her medical degree, Dr. Codella attended Case Western Reserve University. She continued her medical education at the Cambridge Hospital/Harvard Medical School, completing both an internship and a residency program there, focused on the study of internal medicine. Dr. Codella has also studied acupuncture at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences and is a New York State Certified Acupuncturist. She is also a New York State Marijuana Prescriber, certified with the New York State Compassionate Care Program.

Patients visiting for Acupuncture can receive a full Chinese Medicine Evaluation designed to address acute and chronic problems. FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE, Integrative Medicine and Holistic Health Care evaluation and treatment are also offered and are designed to locate and treat the root cause of symptoms. Dr Codella also refers when needed to Specialist Care-including Cardiovascular, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Orthopedics and other specialties.

Dr Codella is a certified Cannabis Physician in Florida and NY State. Florida requires the initial exam in person. After an initial in-person exam, all follow-up visits can be completed remotely.
