Holistic Dietitian California Carly Leanza, RDN, is a compassionate and experienced nutrition expert dedicated to helping clients develop a positive, sustainable relationship with food. With a Master’s in Public Health Nutrition from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington, Carly brings a deeply personalized and realistic approach to care, blending evidence-based nutrition counselling with HAES-aligned principles.
Carly is a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s in Public Health Nutrition from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. She is passionate about helping people live their healthiest lives while fostering a positive relationship with food. Carly believes in taking a holistic approach to address the complex relationship between nutrition, mental health, and chronic conditions. She provides solid nutrition education and collaborates with her clients to find a nutrition lifestyle that is realistic and sustainable. Approach to Care Carly provides HAES-aligned care and emphasizes a non-diet approach for her nutrition counselling and evidence-based interventions. She loves structure and routine while also embracing creativity to meet each client where they are. Nutrition is not a “one-size-fits-all” approach, and Carly encourages her clients to be authentically themselves to provide optimal individualized care. What to Expect To provide personalized holistic care, Carly uses your initial session to gain a thorough understanding of you as a person. You’ll be asked about your medical history, food preferences, eating habits, nutrition goals, and all the other things that make you, you—hobbies, work, support system, and more! Carly will use this information to develop an individualized plan that best supports you in making positive changes. Carly loves baking, going to Pilates, knitting, and going on coffee walks with her dog, Franklin!
