Description
Dr. Kokoszka received her MD degree from the State University of New York at Stonybrook in 2002. She completed her internship in internal medicine at St. Luke’s –Roosevelt Hospital/Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and her residency in neurology at St.Vincent’s Medical Center, Manhattan/New York Medical College in 2007. Before her clinical training in neurology, she worked as a clinical researcher at the Beth Israel Spine Institute. She completed a clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at the State University of New York at Stonybrook and an additional year of training in intraoperative monitoring at Roosevelt Hospital in 2009. After graduation, she worked as an attending at St. Luke ’s-Roosevelt Hospital and then at New York Neurology Associates, practicing outpatient and inpatient neurology and clinical neurophysiology until the summer of 2015. Most recently in the fall of 2015, she started working at Neurology and Neurotesting. She continues to maintain her affiliation and privileges with St. Luke’s- Roosevelt-Mount Sinai Hospitals. Her experience includes evaluating outpatient and inpatient neurology patients as well as interpretation of various neurophysiological tests, such as EEGs, video EEGs, including complicated ICU studies, evoked potentials and EMGS/NCS. She is also skilled in performing Botox injections in the head and neck. Her professional interests are general neurology, clinical neurophysiology, epilepsy, and headache. She is board-certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology.
