Dr. Alexander Shaknovich graduated from Harvard Medical School. He completed post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at New York Cornell, and Cardiology training at New York-Presbyterian and Scripps Institute in San Diego. He is a former Chief of Interventional Cardiology at the New York Hospital.
Dr. Shaknovich specializes in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology, and is a widely respected expert in coronary interventions, including angiography, balloon angioplasty, and coronary stenting.
He treats patients with a wide range of cardiovascular problems, including angina (chest pain), hypertension (high blood pressure), valvular heart disease, heart failure and arrhythmias.
