Dr Tuyama received her medical degree in Brazil. She completed her training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at The Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. She was clinical and research faculty at both NYU Medical School, New York and The Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Following her time in premier academic institutions, Dr Tuyama spent 8 years in a busy private practice in Westchester.
