Description
Dr. Lampley is a board-certified adult outpatient psychiatrist specialized in interventional psychiatry (eg, effective therapies for treatment-resistant mental health disease).
Hello! I’m Dr. Andrew Lampley, a California native born and raised in Orange County. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Neurobiology and a medical doctorate (MD) at the University of California, Irvine. My fascination with the human mind led me to complete a Psychiatry residency at Kaiser Permanente Southern California, where I held multiple leadership positions, conducted quality improvement in Women’s Mental Health, and was honoured as “Teaching Resident of the Year”. During and after residency, I continued my training in the subspecialty of Interventional Psychiatry, which includes ketamine, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS; dual-certification), and a fellowship for electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) at Duke University School of Medicine. I am board-certified under the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and a member of the American Society of Ketamine Physicians (ASKP). On my free time, I enjoy running, food (of all kinds!), and spending quality time with my loved ones, especially with Reese (our junior dog).
I feel most fulfilled when I can make others happy, and when I put in earnest efforts to continually learn and grow with the intent of helping others. That said, being in the mental health space has been incredibly rewarding and brings me excitement every single day
