Dr. Anika Paul is the founder/owner of Mettle Physical Therapy, located in Basking Ridge, NJ. Dr. Paul believes that one-on-one patient care, using an evidence-based approach, is vital in returning patients to their desired function. Also, what is equally important but is usually overlooked by other clinicians in the industry, is to establish a maintenance and prevention protocol to avoid recurrence of the injury in future. Since the completion of my Physical Therapy degree, I’ve always looked forward to coming into work each day and meeting different people from all walks of life. I take great sense of pride in my work and strive to provide the best quality of care to each of my patients. I truly enjoy the interaction aspect of my profession. I love discussing my patients’ goals and motivating them to improve their function. I enjoy having a beautiful relationship with my patients, and I believe that it’s crucial to establish a solid rapport with each patient. Being a physical therapist allows me to work with amazing people and creates a constantly changing environment that is full of challenges. This is why I feel being a physical therapist is not just a job for me, but also an adventure!
