Description
Dr. Cynthia Leung was born and raised in the Bay Area. She completed both her medical school and internal medicine residency training at Stanford. After completing her Residency, she participated in the Master’s Program for Clinical Epidemiology and received her MS degree in 2006. Dr. Leung then went on to complete her fellowship in Gastroenterology at Stanford University Medical Center.
During her Gastroenterology fellowship, Dr. Leung was involved in research exploring colonoscopy techniques and GI imaging. As a result, she has in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge technologies. In her time at Stanford University, Dr. Leung received several awards, including the Department of Internal Medicine Housestaff Award for Professionalism.
Accompanying her educational accomplishments is a wide variety of interests, especially noted are photography, travel and Spanish language
