Dr. Daniel Riegel, MD

Dr. Daniel Riegel joined the practice in 2018. He specializes in internal medicine, consultative and diagnostic cardiology, and vascular disease. His interests include the treatment of coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, pacemakers, peripheral artery disease, and vein disorders. Dr. Riegel earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. Following his residency in Internal Medicine at New York University Elaine A. and Kenneth G. Langone Medical Center in Manhattan, Dr. Riegel completed his Cardiovascular fellowship at Northwell Health in Manhasset. During his fellowship, he obtained additional board certifications in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Vascular Ultrasonography. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Riegel is affiliated with Northwell Health (North Shore-LIJ) in Manhasset and New Hyde Park, as well as St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center.
