Dr. Tarazona is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Florida State University College of Medicine and completed an orthopedic surgical residency at NYU Langone Hospital – Long Island, where he served as Chief Resident. He pursued advanced fellowship training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles, known for treating professional athletes, working with teams like the Los Angeles Rams, Dodgers, Angels, Galaxy, and Anaheim Ducks. Dr. Tarazona focuses on a personalized, patient-centered approach, collaborating with individuals to tailor treatment plans to their specific needs. He treats shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee disorders, using nonsurgical methods like physical therapy, blood-flow restriction therapy, and ultrasound-guided injections, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
