Dr. George Hanna, MD

Dr. George Hanna is a Harvard-trained, double-board-certified spine pain specialist and anesthesiologist, providing advanced, non-surgical treatments and injections for back pain, joint injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions.

Dr. Hanna specializes in office-based and outpatient procedures, including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, facet joint blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and regenerative treatments such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP). He develops individualized care plans tailored to the needs of each patient, especially those looking to maintain an active lifestyle despite persistent pain. Dr. Hanna received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School, followed by a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Brigham and Women’s Hospital – Harvard Medical School. He later served as a Clinical Instructor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School, where he trained new physicians at Massachusetts General Hospital in the latest pain management techniques. He also held leadership positions as the Director of Pain Innovations & Technology at Harvard, Medical Director of Pain Management at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, and Chairman of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Chilton Medical Center, Atlantic Health System (NJ). Dr. Hanna combines compassionate, patient-centred care with cutting-edge technology to treat back pain, neck pain, and spine conditions, helping patients regain their mobility and reclaim their lives.
