After completing my Internal Medicine training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, I went on to care for some of the most critically ill patients in academic hospitals and teach the next generation of physicians. As a hospitalist, my work was meaningful but often brief—I rarely saw patients beyond their hospital stay. Over time, I felt a growing pull toward something more lasting: building relationships, promoting wellness, and walking with patients through every stage of their health journey.

That calling led me to primary care—and to reimagining how it’s delivered.
