Dr. Henry Wu, MD, FACC

  • New York

Description

As the Founder of healthcare startup, Agilance, Dr. Wu understands that the experience of symptoms such as chest pain and palpitations can be a frightening one. First on one’s mind is whether these symptoms represent the warning signs of a heart attack. This concern will inevitably lead to a search on the Internet that offers a bewildering amount of information. Oftentimes, the search of online medical information leads at best to an incomplete understanding. At worse, it causes a panic attack that brings the patient to the emergency room. On the flip side, others might overlook a serious condition due to the lack of timely access to reliable medical advice. Still others might minimize or even deny the warning signs of their symptoms.

Given these all-too-common scenarios, our practice is uniquely dedicated to make the diagnostic process as stress-free as possible. If you fill out our questionnaire about your symptoms on Zocdoc, our providers will review it and contact you ASAP via telemedicine on the same day.

Dr. Wu holds certification from the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine, National Board of Echocardiography, and American Board of Cardiac Computed Tomogragphy. He is an active member of the American College of Cardiology.
For his undergraduate degree, Dr. Wu attended Columbia College, graduating summa cum laude and with membership in the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Wu pursued his medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He continued his medical education with internal medicine residency training at Cornell University and a fellowship program in cardiovascular medicine at Columbia University. Dr. Wu has also completed a fellowship program in advanced cardiovascular imaging at Harvard University and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
