Dr. Hertzel K. Sure is a board certified internist, whose personal history and professional philosophy make him an excellent doctor to work with.

When he was thirteen, his parents decided to move him alone to the United States, in order for him to have a brighter future. Dr. Sure lived in New York.

1992 he received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Stony Brook University in New York. During his time at Stony Brook, Dr. Sure trained instructors to help physically and mentally handicapped individuals exercise in and enjoy an aquatic environment. In addition, he participated in research projects related to cloning DNA and the effect of restriction enzymes.

In 1998 Dr. Sure received his Medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. While working in different medical settings and hospitals around the United States, he gained the experience needed to address the most complicated medical cases.

Dr. Sure has affiliations with North Shore University Hospital of Manhasset, Elmhurst Hospital, North Shore Forest Hill, Mount Sinai Hospital, Fairview Nursing Home and Long Island Care Center. Dr. Sure opened his private practice in Elmhurst in 2003.

Dr. Sure believes that in order to overcome a disease it takes more than medicine: the relationship between patient and doctor must provide a solid foundation for healing. His motto, which he applies in his practice, is this: the patient comes first, no matter what
