Description
Dr. Jacob Son completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2016. During his time at Indiana University, Dr. Son travelled to Haiti on a dental service trip and provided care for the people there through a mission outreach program. He also spent his weekends volunteering at the student-run outreach clinic in Indianapolis. This clinic served the homeless and underserved in the community.
Dr. Son practiced in Wisconsin after completing dental school, and completed hundreds of hours of additional continuing education in oral surgery, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and implant dentistry to offer his patients a broader range of services. He achieved a fellowship in Implant Dentistry through the Implant Pathways Program in 2019. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry. Education has always been a passion for Dr. Son, and he enjoys teaching part-time as a clinical assistant professor at Colorado University Anschutz Medical Center, where he educates the next generation of dentists.
Outside of practice, Dr. Son enjoys skiing, hiking, rock climbing, and riding motorcycles. Dentistry for Dr. Son combines a passion for helping people and using his artistic eye to help his patients achieve the smile they’ve always wanted.
