Description

First, to clarify, I am an Out of Network Provider (OON), which means I accept payment for my services and provide you with a Superbill to submit to your carrier for reimbursement. I have continued meeting with clients mostly virtually, but I do have an office and meet in person as well, especially for initial consultations and weekly group therapy.

By becoming more mindful or gaining greater awareness of yourself and your patterns, you can empower yourself to make changes. The mind is a powerful instrument that can be used to help or hurt you.

I hope to help you understand yourself so that you can be your own best friend, encouraging you to reach your highest potential. I lead a long-term psychotherapy group for women focusing on self-esteem and interpersonal patterns. This group is comprised of current clients who share common goals and experiences. These women are committed to delving into these issues both in group and between sessions in their therapy. The emotional breakthroughs and corrective emotional experiences I have witnessed are priceless.

I specialize in mood, eating, and addictive disorders, although many of my clients attend therapy with general goals of improving life in regards to relationships, careers, self-esteem, and other common struggles. Ultimately, I have found that a positive therapeutic relationship and a tailor-made collaborative plan are necessary for a successful therapeutic experience.

I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology and Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University, my Bachelor’s degree from Tufts University, and completed my internship at Manhattan Psychiatric Center. I look forward to helping you remove any blocks that are preventing you from living your best life!
