Dr Barrera completed his fellowship in Neurophysiology to treat patients with epilepsy and seizures. Dr Barrera is highly experienced in general neurology and has been treating patients throughout his career for general neurological problems such as headaches, migraines, and dizziness. Dr Barrera also has expertise in treating patients for neuromuscular problems such as neck, joint and back pains, numbness, neuropathy, muscle pain and movement issues. Dr Barrera is seeing patients from 19 years old onward. Your upcoming encounter at Medical Arts clinics will consist of two visits: – Initial Evaluation is usually done by Dr Barrera’s staff Physician. During this visit, we will conduct procedures and diagnostic tests, as necessary, such as EEG, EMG, Vascular and General Ultrasound Studies, EVOX, MRI, CT scan, etc.
