Nunez, PT, DPT, CMP, MCMT, is a NJ & NY licensed Board Certified Physical Therapist who received his BA in Biology with a Minor of Political Science at Kean University. He completed his professional training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he earned his Clinical Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2003.

.Dr. Nunez is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner and has earned a Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy. In addition, he is well-versed in McKenzie, Total Motion Release, Specialized Functional Movement Assessment and also holds certifications in Kinesiology Taping, Ergonomics, and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. With over 17 years of clinical experience in general orthopedics, sports medicine, industrial rehabilitation, pre-/post- surgical care, wellness training, and injury prevention, he has worked with patients of all ages and across all activity levels. During his years of practice, he found that many patients came to him after unsuccessfully being given generalized exercises based solely on their diagnoses. Dr. Nunez founded Top Choice Physical Therapy & Wellness to offer a distinct style of physical therapy where each session varies based on the patient’s response to the prescribed treatment plan. Some of his professional affiliations include the American Physical Therapy Association, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Headache Society. Dr. Nunez is invested in providing his expertise to give back to the citizens of the community. As a husband and father of two young children, he prides himself on having the empathy and compassion to provide each patient with attention and focused care.
