Dr. Lauren Coar, PT, DPT is a NJ licensed physical therapist who received her doctoral degree from Seton Hall University in 2023. Dr. Coar has gained experience with a wide variety of patient populations and practice settings, including mentorship under Dr. Foram Patel at our facility. She believes in combining evidenced based skills and advanced specializations with person centered care to meet the unique needs of each patient she cares for. Dr. Coar has a special interest in dance medicine due to her personal background as a dancer herself. She has trained and competed in various styles of dance since age 3, and is a two time national champion and alumni of the University of Delaware Dance Team. Dr. Coar is extremely passionate about making an impact on and advocating for the dance community. She has a unique ability to connect and relate with dancers to empower them with care and information that she wishes she knew early in her dance career. Outside of treating patients, Lauren enjoys taking dance classes, pilates, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
