Description
I am a licensed psychologist with a PhD in Psychology from Fordham University and experience in a variety of therapeutic settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and private practice. I have been working in private practice since 2011, focusing on counselling clients suffering from addiction, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. I also have expertise in couples therapy.
I am a trained yoga teacher and practitioner, and I started my career as a NYC public school teacher before pursuing a career in psychology. My therapeutic approach can be best described as collaborative, supportive, and change-based.
I believe that you have the solutions to your current struggles, but you’re “too close” to see them. My role is to help you clear the path. Working with me, clients should expect to learn new ways of understanding themselves and interacting with the important people in their lives. Clients will find their voices and use them in new and effective ways
