Dr. Marissa Pedro is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She went to Juniata College, where she studied biology with a minor in philosophy. She earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency training at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Pedro has a particular interest in holistic medicine and women’s health. She holds the relationships she builds with her patients in high regard. She prides herself on being an advocate for her patients and working in partnership with them to ensure their needs are met. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, running and painting, and is currently developing her skills in oil painting. She is new to New York City and is very excited to be a part of Mount Sinai Doctors, working alongside such a fantastic team of practitioners.
