Description
Dr. Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from James Madison University. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut. As a student-athlete, Dr. Matt suffered several injuries that required Physical Therapy treatment to restore function and performance. It was his experience as a patient that inspired him to pursue a career in physical rehabilitation. Dr. Matt experienced firsthand how Physical Therapy helped patients return to the activities they loved and he wanted to help patients recover from their injuries, just as his therapists had done for him. Dr. Matt has a special interest in sports medicine and rehab for a variety of sports-related injuries. He continues to enjoy participating in sports like football, soccer, and baseball and spends his summers going to the beach.
