Description
Dr. Michael Marossy is a clinician and researcher who specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational difficulties. He works with adolescents, adults, and couples, and his treatment approach is most effective with clients who hope to improve their self-understanding as a result of treatment.
Dr. Marossy graduated with his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology. His clinical experience includes working in university counselling centers (Azusa Pacific University, Vanguard University), community mental health clinics (Fuller Psychological and Family Services), and hospital settings (Meier Clinics). Receiving training experiences in a wide variety of clinical settings has prepared Dr. Marossy to work with clients with a wide range of symptom severity and from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
Dr. Marossy’s research is focused on the question of how to include religious and spiritual factors in treatment in ways that are both culturally and interpersonally responsible. He enjoys working with clients from all faith traditions, and he has extensive experience and expertise in working with Christian clients.
Dr. Marossy previously worked as a Clinical Supervisor and Adjunct Professor at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology before moving on to start his private practice, Seek Psychological Services Inc.
