Omar Ahmed, MD MBA, is a leading neurologist in New York City. He is the first and only American and European board-certified neurologist in private practice.
Dr. Ahmed founded Northern Medical Care, and its Apex Neurology offices are conveniently located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. He is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of all general neurology disorders.
Dr. Ahmed did residencies in internal medicine at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and neurology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He also completed a research fellowship in surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Ahmed earned his undergraduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio, and his graduate degree from Cornell University.
