Dr. Weiner attended the University of Maryland at College Park, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Microbiology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. Following medical school, he completed his residency in Pediatrics at The Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where he also served as Chief Resident the following year. Dr. Weiner joined the Pediatric Care Center in 1989.

He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. An active member of the local pediatric community, Dr. Weiner has served as president of the Montgomery-Prince George’s Pediatric Society and on the Medical Advisory Board of the Treatment and Learning Center in Rockville. He has also contributed to committees at Children’s National Medical Center, Holy Cross Hospital, and Suburban Hospital. Dr. Weiner is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics on the faculty of The George Washington University School of Medicine and is also on the teaching faculty at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He remains actively involved in training medical students and residents in pediatrics. Additionally, Dr. Weiner serves as the Assistant Director of the Pediatric Care Center.
