During his residency at NYU Langone and fellowship at Northwell Health, he had the privilege of working alongside leaders in neurosurgery who taught him not only the technical aspects of the most complex spine surgeries but also the importance of a multidisciplinary,holistic approach. For spinal tumours, Dr. Ber collaborates with the medical and radiation oncologists to decide on the best treatment approach.

For patients with degenerative pathologies, he believes in a conservative approach, exploring all non-operative measures involving physiatrists, neurologists and pain doctors before deciding on surgical treatment.
