Dr. Calero-Bai has been practicing pediatric medicine for 36 years in Northern New Jersey. She finds it very rewarding to guide and advise parents on how to raise healthy children. “I feel a good sense observing my patients as they grow and develop from infancy on to adolescence and young adulthood,” she says. “I speak to my patients and parents as I wish to be spoken to – with kindness, patience, and respect. Most of the families I care for don’t realize that I am more like them than they realize. This helps me to be able to relate to them.” Dr. Calero-Bai earned her Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and completed her internship in Pediatrics at University Hospital.
