Dr. Shane Volney, a Harvard-trained spine and arthritis doctor focusing on non-surgical injections, procedures and treatments, is currently accepting most major medical insurances at his Pain Management Center in Woodland Park NJ, Clifton, New Jersey and Manhattan, NYC. Outpatient-based pain treatments include epidural injections, facet nerve blocks and ablation treatments, as well as other advanced treatments for arthritis, injuries and spine pain such as regenerative medicine and platelet rich plasma (PRP). Dr. Volney is a Harvard-trained, double Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He completed a pain management fellowship at The Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School followed by a fellowship in Palliative Medicine at Harvard. After completing his medical training, Dr. Volney was appointed Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School where he taught for seven years in multiple medical fields including Pain Management, Palliative Care, and Anesthesiology. Through a unique, balanced approach to pain relief treatments and non-surgical procedures, Dr. Volney designs individualized comprehensive treatment programs tailored to his patient’s individual needs without using medications for arthritis, back problems, lower back pain, neck pain, and spine pain to help patients regain function utilizing advanced non-surgical treatments, procedures and injections. In addition to his vast experience in pain management, Dr. Volney has worked along several leaders and professionals in vein disease, and his specialties include treatment for painful varicose veins.
