Dr. Sheena Ranade is a board-certified pediatric orthopedic surgeon and an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery for the Mount Sinai Health System who provides compassionate care to children all over New York City. She sees patients at the Mount Sinai Hospital (UES), Mount Sinai West (UWS) and Mount Sinai Brooklyn Heights. Dr. Ranade has an undergraduate and master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, attended medical school at New York Medical college, completed her orthopedic residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital and completed her fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, one of the best pediatric orthopedic fellowships in the country. Her interests include sports injuries in the growing athlete, cerebral palsy, developmental dysplasia of the hip, hip preservation, lower extremity abnormalities, foot and ankle issues and trauma. Dr. Ranade is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, and the Society of Women Engineers. She is trilingual in English, Spanish and Malayalam
