Shira Eytan, M.D. F.A.C.E. attended Rutgers University and graduated with honors. She then received her medical degree from Tel Aviv University-American Program. Her internship and residency training were completed in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan and she then proceeded to complete her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Rutgers University-New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Eytan has presented at multiple regional and national conferences including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the Endocrine Society.

Dr. Eytan is ABIM double Board Certified in Internal Medicine, as well as Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism and licensed in the state of NY. She is a member of the Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. Her specialization includes all aspects of general endocrinology. Dr. Eytan believes in a patient-centric, whole-body approach to endocrine management.

Dr. Eytan also serves as a review editor for Frontiers in Clinical Diabetes and Healthcare, as well as a reviewer for multiple health publications such as Health Central.
