Dr. Teresa Lemma was born in Brooklyn New York and now lives in New Jersey. She graduated from St Johns University Jamaica New York and completed her medical training at the Universidad Del Noreste in Tampico Mexico. She completed her pediatric residency at St Vincent’s Medical center now known as Richmond University Medical Center, a Mt. Sinai affiliate. She has received many awards for her advocacy for children’s rights and issues. At present she is associate director of the pediatric residency program at RUMC.
