Dr. Thomas Price.

Dr. Thomas Price is a cardiologist with more than 3 decades of experience treating patients with cardiovascular diseases. He attended Dartmouth College, where he majored in biology and was a member of two Ivy League Championship football teams. After Dartmouth, he returned to Ohio and entered medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His internship and residency were completed at Harlem Hospital Center. His fellowship in cardiology was at Harlem Hospital in affiliation with Columbia University. Following Fellowship, he joined the faculty as a clinical instructor, later to become clinical assistant professor of medicine. Dr. Price has been a faculty member of the Nurse Anesthetist Program of the City University of New York. He was an assistant professor in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ. He was the team physician for the New York Knights of the World League of American Football. He was the Associate Director of Cardiology at Montefiore, Mt Vernon Hospital in Mt. Vernon, NY and an attending cardiologist at NYP-Lawrence Hospital, Bronxville, NY. Dr. Price has been a consultant to the pharmaceutical industry in the area of clinical cardiology. He was a member of the American Heart Association Northeast Affiliate Board of Directors and the national board of directors for the Association of Black Cardiologists. He was a member of the Westchester County Blue Ribbon Panel on Healthcare Disparities and was honoured by Westchester County as a Trailblazer in Medicine. For many years, Dr. Price has been named to the Castle Connelly list of the Best Doctors in Metro NY and to Westchester Magazine’s Best Doctors in Westchester County. Dr. Price believes that the patient must be a full participant in the health care decisions and treatment choices.
