Michael Lacovara, PT, DPT

Michael is a dedicated physical therapist with a strong educational foundation and a passion for helping others achieve optimal health and mobility. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Quinnipiac University, where he gained in-depth knowledge in musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic rehabilitation. During his time at Quinnipiac, Michael volunteered at Equip Rehab, a pro bono physical therapy clinic, where he assisted in the treatment of patients from diverse backgrounds and age groups. His education and volunteer experiences not only provided him with the clinical skills necessary to address a wide range of conditions but also instilled a deep understanding of the importance of personalized care and the overall well-being of his patients. Michael has worked in a number of clinical settings, including outpatient orthopedic clinics, sports rehabilitation, and an assisted living facility.

He has treated individuals with a variety of conditions, including sports injuries, chronic pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Michael employs a hands-on approach that integrates manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modern treatment techniques to help his patients return to their previous levels of activity.
