Description
Rachel Troob, MHC-LP Background and approach I firmly believe in tailoring interventions to meet clients’ individual needs. My goal as a therapist is to assist clients in their journey toward building a person and life they love. With my clients, I always take a strengths-based approach, focusing on adjusting my methods to what works best for each treatment plan. I like to take an integrative approach using Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I mainly work with young adults around areas such as self-worth, life transitions, anxiety, trauma, and workplace stress. I hold an MEd in Mental Health Counseling from The Pennsylvania State University, which has equipped me with a solid foundation to support my clients effectively. My personal beliefs Starting therapy is a vulnerable process. I am here to support your experiences and provide you with tools to better cope with situations. I focus on exploring clients’ inner voices and beliefs that shape how we interpret experiences. I view sessions as a collaborative process where the client is the leader.
