Description
I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I was born and raised in upstate New York. I received my RN from Southern Vermont College. I then earned my BSN from SUNY Plattsburgh while working full-time as a nurse manager of one of the wings of the Vermont Veterans Home.
I found my love of mental health diagnosis and treatment while working with veterans and their families, and my unit became the unofficial unit for the most challenging mental health patients. This inspired me to earn my Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. I have experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds, including those with substance use disorders
