Description
Hello! My name is Alain (pronounced Alan), and I’m a dedicated psychotherapist passionate about helping individuals understand themselves better. Originally from the French-speaking part of Canada, I moved to the U.S. and bring with me a rich multicultural perspective shaped by my experiences with language, culture, and identity. This background informs my empathetic approach to clients navigating their own important life transitions.
I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Career Counseling from Université de Sherbrooke. I celebrate multiculturalism in my practice, drawing on my engagement with diverse communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, to create an inclusive therapeutic space.
