Clara Mackinlay (she/her) is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate working under the supervision of Dr. Lisa Black. She brings a warm, grounded, and deeply attuned presence to her work, creating a safe space for clients to explore the full range of their emotional experiences. Clara is also honest and direct—unafraid to lovingly challenge patterns that keep clients stuck, while honouring their inner wisdom and capacity to heal.

She works with high achievers, perfectionists, people-pleasers, workaholics, and those with chronic trauma who feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or burned out. Many of her clients have tried traditional talk therapy and are seeking something deeper—an approach that integrates the body, honours the nervous system, and supports lasting change.

In addition to her therapy training, Clara is a Certified Somatic Yoga Instructor, Reiki Practitioner, and Plant Medicine Specialist. Outside of sessions, you’ll find her in nature, on the dance floor, or cuddling with her cats.
