Dr. Laurence Milgrim has been in private practice for over 30 years. He is a double board-certified surgeon, certified by both the American Board of Head and Neck Surgery? Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This unique status places him in an elite group of surgeons who are experts in both cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgery. Having known Dr. Stegman for years, Dr. Milgrim was specifically invited to join the distinguished team of doctors and surgeons at NJ Eye and Ear by Dr. Kevin Ende and Dr. Stegman. In his long career, he has served as Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical Center in San Antonio, Yale New Haven Medical Center in Connecticut, and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, where he taught residents and fellows. He has been honoured as an Academy committee member for Patient Advocacy and has generously donated his time to Face to Face, an international organization providing complimentary surgery to those who have suffered facial trauma or disfigurements. His teaching at Albert Einstein and Mount Sinai earned him awards, including the Albert Einstein Leo Davidoff Award for Excellence in Teaching of Medical Students and Residents. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Milgrim has gained international recognition for his approach to rhinoplasty, especially revision rhinoplasty. He trained with renowned New York rhinoplasty expert Sidney Feuerstein, who is also his godfather, and with Irving Goldman, a pioneer of modern rhinoplasty, in New York City. After graduating from Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Milgrim earned his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. He completed his internship and residency in Head and Neck Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center. Moses Division Hospital in New York, followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
