Dr. Nancy Artis is a Podiatrist with over 10 years of experience in the field. Dr. Artis’s deep commitment to helping others achieve wellness is the hallmark of her medical training and the delivery of care to her patients. She attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (also known as Kent State University) where she received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree. She then did medical training in Philadelphia and in Delaware, where she helped treat dancers, athletes, and the elderly population.
She then began her Residency in Cleveland, Ohio, which she completed in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Artis is an advocate for conservative care before surgical treatment is performed. Dr. Artis is a standout in the way she takes her time with her patients and enjoys educating her patients so they can best choose their course of care. Dr. Artis is a native New Yorker, and graduate of Syracuse University.
She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., for which she was selected to be a Leadership Fellow, one of the service-based organizations’ highest honors. Her greatest joy is being a mother to her two children and enjoys spending time with family. Dr. Artis is an active reader, who enjoys exercising, watching basketball, and participating in faith-based activities. Dr. Artis is also fluent in Spanish.
