Description
I grew up in a huge family, where I was the trusted confidant. I’ve always had a knack for helping people work through their emotions. This was uncommon in our household because of the cultural discrepancies between generations. Growing up in an environment where therapy was stigmatized, I understand the power of a safe space – a place where you can be your authentic self without fear of judgment. Being a first-generation American, I cherish the values and knowledge passed down from my culture, but I have come to believe that seeking help is not a sign of weakness, but a testament to strength. My Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Hofstra University has further equipped me to provide compassionate support and guidance to those navigating their emotional journeys.
