Janet Chavez Hernandez is a dedicated mental health professional and Licensed Professional Counsellor. With over a decade of experience, she has significantly contributed to the mental health sector. Janet holds a Master’s of Counselling degree from Webster University.
She also Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Park University. She is certified in EMDR and equine-assisted therapy. She is trained in CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She has worked with individuals with addictions, trauma, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression and various diagnoses. Janet has experience in trauma-informed care and providing individual and family therapy.
She also has experience working with adults, children, adolescents, and military families, and children in foster care. Through her work, Janet continues to provide accessible mental health services and make an impact in our community.
