Provider Jorge Gainza is a compassionate adult psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. He earned his Associate’s degree from Miami Dade College, his Bachelor’s degree from South University, Tampa, and completed his Master’s in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at Florida International University. He currently works at South Florida Psychiatry, serving the people of Florida. Patients visit Provider Gainza for various reasons, such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and attention-deficit/hyperactive disorders. He also offers mental health consultations, psychiatry follow-ups, medication reviews and management, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) counseling. Provider Gainza creates a safe and secure environment for his patients to express themselves freely. He recognizes the unique circumstances of each case and adapts his recommendations and treatment options accordingly.
