PA Raphaela Gassanov is a highly trained and compassionate board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Medical Arts clinics to serve the downtown population of New York City.

She earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Long Island University, Brooklyn. PA Gassanov is very passionate about treating patients, addressing unmet needs, and counselling patients on long-term health goals. She enjoys connecting with her patients and always strives to provide patient-centred care. PA Gassanov works in conjunction with a group of Internal Medicine doctors at Medical Arts Comprehensive offices. She has a particular interest in treating hypertension and diabetes, as well as seeing patients for general consultations, annual physical exams, and disease prevention consultations.

She refers her patients to a variety of in-house specialists and tests if any health problems need further investigation. Medical Arts offices are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a variety of specialists, such as neurologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, and pain management experts, to name a few, providing comprehensive, in-office disease screening using non-invasive diagnostic testing available to patients during their visits.
