Description
My name is Willie Campbell and I am a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I take an eclectic approach to therapy. I typically draw from the following evidenced based therapeutic treatment approaches (e.g., Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focus CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) when working with clients.
My focus areas of practice include but is not limited to working with clients young and old alike struggling with Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD), Bipolar, Attention-Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Acute Stress associated with work related issues, Adjustment Difficulty, Substance Abuse and/or Addictions (e.g., gambling, pornography, video gaming, etc.). I am very comfortable working with clients with the mental health conditions aforementioned.
I am warm, open, and nonjudgmental, and I create a warm, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for treatment sessions with my clients. Clients who work with me feel safe, comfortable, understood, and supported. I see goal-setting as an integral part of contracting and involves identifying desired outcomes in collaboration with the client. Effective goal-setting aligns with the client’s strengths, values, and circumstances.
